Ronald McDonald House Charities

Ronald McDonald House Charities and Burma Humanitarian Mission have partnered to deliver medicine for children in Burma:

For the second year in a row, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMCH) has partnered with us to focus on treating and curing children in the conflict zones of eastern and northern Burma. BHM is one of 9 charities to receive a RMHC Global Grant.

In 2014, RMHC helped treat:

- 4,711 children

- 227 children with malaria

- 327 children with dysentery

- 4,244 children treated with Vitamin A

- 284 births - with an 80% reduction in infant mortality

- In total, 12,976 children were reached as a result of RMHC grant

In 2015, RMHC is continuing its partnership with us. This partnership will support 10 teams to support more than 15,000 children with:

- 570,000 doses of medicine

- Nearly 20,000 pieces of medical supply equipment (thermometers, stethoscopes, etc.)
